How do you want me to implement mod sharing?

In the upcoming MC Modpack Manager release I have to choose the way sharing modpacks will work.

In the upcoming Minecraft Modpack Manager release (10.0), I'm planning to add an easy way to share a minecraft modpack with your friends, but I want your feedback regarding the way I should implement it. Which one is better?

  • Having to share your modConfig.json (from your modpack's folder)

  • Having to share a possibly long base64 string of your modConfig.json
    • \n
  • Having to share a 7 digit code with your friends (but the app will connect to my proprietary api in order to do that)
